Flip Clocks

October 21, 2010
tags:

Hey. :)

Here are two flip clocks which I’ve been meaning to release for absolutely ages. The wall clock is based on one I saw in a bank once and the alarm clock is based on one my brother has (and which I covet). They both have two colour channels. The wall clock works but sadly the alarm clock (although it does function correctly as an alarm clock) won’t show any time other than 2.34pm. Just pretend it’s broken or something…

If you come across any problems at all, please let me know. It’s been ages since I’ve uploaded anything, so I’m a little rusty. Hopefully the gap between this update and my next one won’t be quite so long! ;)

Wall Clutter Pack 1

It’s taken a while, but I’ve finally finished the first part of my Wall Clutter Pack. I have a few things in mind for the next installment, but if you’ve got any ideas, please let me know. Hope you have fun cluttering up your walls! :)

First up are some cards and photos pegged to a zig-zaggy string, attached to the wall with nails. The pegs, string, and nails can all be recoloured, if you are so inclined.

Next are three cards pegged to a string. The suction cups are ideal for sticking to windows, but also look good on walls. This particular set is for kids, but I’ll probably make a more grown-up version in the next pack.

I also decided to make a couple more variations of my clipped prints.

Finally, we have a mix-and-match set of postcards, etc. Each one is separate and there are four images on each mesh. Unfortunately, wall placement is a little limited, due to the way wall decor is set up in TS3. Bring back the [ and ] key functions from Apartment Life, I say!

The images were gathered from various places throughout the Interweb. Feel free to recolour my meshes if you wish. The only thing I ask is that you let me know so I can download them too!

Clipped Posters

Hey guys! It’s been far too long. I’m so sorry about the lack of updates. I recently started a new job and moved house, so RL has been a bit hectic. Anyway, enough excuses… here’s something new! I was looking recently on the Keep Calm Gallery website and noticed they had an innovative way of hanging some of their prints, using nails and bulldog clips. So I decided a new mesh was in order! As I’m still quite new to meshing, it’s not absolutely perfect, but I’m pretty happy with it. Hopefully you will be too. :)

If you do, there are several good ones over at LivingSims. Some even have participation gifts, including a little something made by me. ;)

I have quite a few different projects on the go and hope to have some more downloads for you very soon. In the meantime, happy simming!

Just wanted to let you all know that Issue 14 of LivingSims magazine is now online! I recently joined the staff there and it has been so much fun helping to put it together. Just to let you know…

I’ve uploaded a new object at Garden of Shadows for their December theme, “Vintage”. There are quite a few goodies there already (and lots more to come, I’d say!) so have a good old fossick through the thread and see what you can find. ;)

Recolourable Cup & Plate

December 10, 2009

You might recall my previously recoloured cup. Well, it really bugged me that it couldn’t be recoloured in the game so, now that I understand UV mapping, I decided to remake it! I’ve also made a recolourable plate to go along with it (a modification of a mesh found here). Each object has three recolourable parts. They are shown here sitting on the gorgeous sideboard from AweSims, using the OMSP by Angela found here. I’ve included both packages and Sims3Packs in the zip file – you only need to install one type, not both.

Hope you get a lot of use out of these!

Curtain Set

December 7, 2009
tags:

I’ve finally finished my first objects which are completely meshed from scratch! :)

Here is a set of three curtain pieces (left, right, and middle), so you can now make curtains as wide as you like. There are three recolourable parts: the rod, the rings, and the curtain fabric.

I have tested these very thoroughly, but please do let me know if you come across anything that needs fixing. A little issue which I haven’t been able to fix is that, in certain lighting, you can see the line where the middle rod meets the other rods. Hopefully this won’t bug anyone too much!

The zip file contains both Sims3Packs and packages, so you can use whichever you prefer. Only put three files in the game, not all of them. Any questions, just ask. Hope you enjoy using these!

The pattern in the above picture is by Vanilla Sim at TSR. (It’s a pay item, I’m sorry to say.)

Still Here!

November 29, 2009

So sorry I haven’t updated in a while. I’ve been busy learning how to mesh, and was also waiting for the latest version of TSR Workshop to be released. I have a few projects on the go and hope to have them available for download very soon. :)
