Wall Clutter Pack 1

It’s taken a while, but I’ve finally finished the first part of my Wall Clutter Pack. I have a few things in mind for the next installment, but if you’ve got any ideas, please let me know. Hope you have fun cluttering up your walls! :)

First up are some cards and photos pegged to a zig-zaggy string, attached to the wall with nails. The pegs, string, and nails can all be recoloured, if you are so inclined.

Next are three cards pegged to a string. The suction cups are ideal for sticking to windows, but also look good on walls. This particular set is for kids, but I’ll probably make a more grown-up version in the next pack.

I also decided to make a couple more variations of my clipped prints.

Finally, we have a mix-and-match set of postcards, etc. Each one is separate and there are four images on each mesh. Unfortunately, wall placement is a little limited, due to the way wall decor is set up in TS3. Bring back the [ and ] key functions from Apartment Life, I say!

The images were gathered from various places throughout the Interweb. Feel free to recolour my meshes if you wish. The only thing I ask is that you let me know so I can download them too!

What programs would I need to be able to recolor your mesh? I would love to do a few recolors with screenshots. I have Photoshop CS5, so basically I just need to know how to get the mesh extracted and put back in a sims3pack or package file? Thanks so much, Your meshes are incredible btw :)

Sorry to take so long to reply. Photoshop will be fine for doing the recolours. You will need another programme, such as TSR Workshop, to extract the mesh, etc. Have a read through some tutorials to get an idea of how it all works. You can find some here: http://www.simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Sims_3:Modding, and there are also some at The Sims Resource. It looks complicated, but you’ll soon get the hang of it. Let me know how you get on!
